SUMMARY:Civil War Experience
DESCRIPTION:Learn about life during the civil war through hands-on activities\, artifacts and food. Children will receive a curated tour of the Veterans Museum Exhibit- The American Civil War: A War of First. For an immersive experience they will make civil war era toys as well as baking civil war ginger cookies. This program will conclude over lunch while enjoying fresh backed cookies and playing with historical civil war toys. Lunch is not provided and must be brought from home.  \n This program is ideal for families with 4th graders but anyone interested in learning about American history is welcome. DESCRIPTION:Fall is the perfect time to sow seeds that need a winter’s rest. By mimicking nature\, we can plant native seeds that need to experience cold to start germination.
