Join us for an enriching outdoor painting workshop where every student creates their own unique masterpiece. Set against the inspiring backdrop of Lasdon Park & Arboretum, this En Plein Air experience—named for the French phrase meaning “in the open air”—offers a serene and stimulating environment to ignite your creativity.
Under the guidance of Sarah Miller Totten, an accomplished painting educator and visual artist from Westchester County, you’ll learn how to bring the beauty of nature to life on your canvas. With a personalized approach to instruction, Sarah’s expertise fosters confidence and creativity in artists of all levels. This workshop emphasizes individual artistic expression, ensuring every participant develops their own style and techniques. Easels are available if needed. Oil Painting Materials will be provided to those who need them for an additional fee of $5. Participants are welcome to bring and work in watercolor or acrylic paints.
Students will meet at the Welcome Center on the Conservatory Plaza.
