The Rose through Time, Culture and Trials for Sustainability

Join author Kristine Paulus for a presentation to discover the extraordinary ways the rose has been depicted through time and across cultures, both within and beyond the garden. Also visit the American Rose Trials for Sustainability trial beds with Lasdon Public Gardens Head Gardener, Madeline Byrne, where roses are evaluated for disease and pest resistance, flowering, foliage, plant form and growth habit in a truly “no spray” environment. Wear shoes for walking.
