I’m a beginner gardener. Is this event too “technical” for me?

Not at all! While we host professional arborists, the “Exchange” is all about making expert knowledge accessible. You’ll find workshops ranging from basic soil health to advanced landscape design.

Can I get specific advice for my own property?

Absolutely. We encourage homeowners to bring photos or basic sketches of their yards. Many of our vendors and speakers offer “Ask an Expert” sessions specifically for quick, personalized consultations.

Are children and pets welcome?

We love future gardeners! There will be youth-focused potting activities. Only service dogs are allowed at Lasdon Public Gardens.

What are the benefits of exhibiting at the Exchange?

Unlike a massive trade show, this is a local, high-intent environment. You’ll have direct access to Westchester property owners who are specifically looking for professional-grade services, as well as opportunities to network with other regional experts.

Is there a cost to attend as a professional?

Professionals can attend to earn CEUs and will pay a registration fee, but we highly recommend participating as an Exhibitor or Sponsor to take full advantage of the branding and speaking opportunities available.

Can I earn CEU credits?

We are currently requesting continuing education credits from NYS DEC, ISA, and LA-CES. Please check the final program for “CEU-eligible” sessions.

LOGISTICS & SUPPORT

How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased in advance through our website or at the gate on the day of the event. We recommend pre-purchasing to skip the line and guarantee a spot in the more popular workshops. The price at the door will also be higher than pre-registration.

Is the event accessible?

The gardens feature a mix of paved and gravel paths. We strive to make all demonstration areas accessible, though some “field” sessions may involve uneven terrain.
