Bring your troop together and show us your creative side, call attention to a cause important to your troop or just have some fun with holiday decorating!
Program Details:
1. Troop completes and submits their Online Registration Form to enter the program.
2. Ornaments for trees must be created from organic or waterproof materials that can withstand the elements. All ornaments MUST be securely attached to trees with floral wire or pipe cleaners. All trees will be displayed outdoors throughout the show.
3. Provide a title of your tree design.
4. Create ornaments to reflect your topic, for example; you might use cut out wooden shapes painted in bright acrylic paint, ornaments made from pine cones, or waterproof bows.
5. Each participating Troop will have a personalized sign prominently displayed next to their tree. Each child will receive an FLPA fun badge for their participation
6. Troops can schedule time to decorate their tree at Lasdon Park during specified dates.
7. At the completion of the show, all ornaments must be must be picked up Saturday, Jan. 3 and Sunday, Jan. 4 between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. We are unable to hold or store ornaments, items that are not picked up at that time will be disposed of.
• Children will receive a free pass to attend the Holiday on the Hill Train show compliments of the Friends of Lasdon Park & Arboretum.
• All design topics must be approved by Lasdon Park officials.

Rules
1. Children under 12 must be accompanied by adults.
• Troop leaders must be present to check-in and receive assignment for their tree.
2. All ornaments and ribbons used for decoration must be suitable for outdoor use. Handmade organic materials such as acorns, glued sticks, cut out wooden shapes, outdoor ribbon, etc. (no food products may be used).
3. Participants are responsible for bringing all tools to decorate their trees.
4. Your tree design must be confined within the assigned space. Only one tree may be decorated in your space.
5. Participants may only decorate their trees on designated dates and must be completed by 3:30 p.m.
6. We ask that any food or drinks brought in is cleaned up before you leave. There are trash receptacles located on the Conservatory Plaza for your convenience.
*This is a family event. All trees must be family appropriate in design and decoration. Management reserves the right to disallow and remove any tree that in its judgment could be found unreasonably offensive.
