Spinning and Weaving Fruits and Veggies
Using plant-based fibers such as pineapple, banana, bamboo, corn, soybean and avocado, ages 6 and older will learn to spin and then use the yarn they spun to create a mini woven wall hanging.

Early Spring Garden Tour
Memorial Garden EntranceJoin the head gardener for a walk around Lasdon Public Gardens in early spring! What to see? Bulbs that were planted last fall, branches that are budding out, the architecture of specimen trees around the park. Free, registration required.
