After being inducted into the Civil War Army, children will bake Maple Sugar Cookies, hand-sew a soldiers' housewife (something every soldier needed!), make a period craft, play with Civil War toys and learn about being a soldier with a hands-on experience in the Veterans Museum. 6 children max. The studio at Lasdon is open. In this workshop children follow their own creative path, working in a variety of different materials with an art educator guiding them along the way. Registration is required to attend this program. This is not a drop off program. For ages 4 and up
